I have chosen these images because they show the wonders of colour, displaying several bright and vibrant colours. The first two images have been taken at a colour festival, therefore suiting the topic very well. The last three images are showing the beautiful aspects of nature relating to colour.
In this photograph a few colours such as yellow, red, blue and green are visible through the brush strokes of paint. The colours and very obvious as they are distinctly different to each other, rather than been blended. Also a white background is used which enhances the shape of the brush strokes and also amplifies the vibrance and boldness of the colours.
Here the colours are very effective in convey the time of day as the background of the sky is dark and there seems to be orange/yellow glowing areas imply lights or fires. Also due to the majority of the composition been relatively dark the streaks of green lights in the sky are exaggerated and amplified.
