These images all display the variety of patterns in the world whether it be natural or man made. Patterns come in a range of forms altered by shape, size, positioning etc. Pattern can also be considered to be detail. Patterns are formed by a continuous composition which contains shapes which replicate each other.
In this case the pattern is formed by the repetitive sequence of pentagon shapes which are organised tightly together. Dark outlines around the shapes are effective in enhancing the shapes and therefore make the pattern more visible.
Here a pattern is made on the brick wall with rectangles which are separated by grey gaps which enhance the shape of the rectangles due to the contrast of colour. These shapes are organised in horizontal lines were the same shape is repeated and organised in rows. There are slightly different patterns in two sets of rows where the length of the rectangles differ.
Here the pattern is caused by a repetitive contrast in colour where wavy lines in the pavement is produced. The lines remain the same through and therefore create a pattern as the lines are organised in a repetitive sequence. The pattern can be considered with the repeating colours of lines.
