All of these images demonstrate depth in the same way. In order to show depth they all have been taken at a camera angle which makes it seem like objects are gradually getting smaller. The angles may be different between them but the outcome is always the same. Another technique in showing depth could be by blurring the foreground and focussing on the background. Therefore illustrating depth and distance.
Depth is shown very effectively through the lines present and their positioning. The lines gradually get closer together, thiner and smaller as they travel towards the centre of the piece, and therefore imply a sense of depth and distance. Also all of the lines are converging towards to the centre of the composition.
Here depth is shown through the change in size of the arcs in the walls. There is arcs within arcs which gradually get smaller as they get further away. It also seems that as the arcs get further away, it gets darker which also imply depth.
In these last two images there are objects which are evidently in the foreground, middle ground and background of the composition. In the foregrounds there are the edges of a cliff. The middle grounds are occupied by mountains/cliffs as well as clouds and water. Also the backgrounds are filled by mountains but which are much smaller than others which also travels towards the right of the composition which is very effective in the showing the difference in size between the mountains.
